Your USMLE journey begins before you ever take an examination.

The medical school you choose matters because international medical graduates must meet the eligibility requirements established for USMLE and ECFMG Certification. A medical school outside the United States must be appropriately listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and meet applicable ECFMG eligibility requirements.
